This is not a DBSK post, but I just have to say this. The entire kpop world probably knows what happened to Ailee in the past week - I won’t go into details, you can research that yourself. Who broke up with who, who blackmailed who, I have no idea, but no matter how you look at it, Ailee is a victim. To be humiliated and used in such a way that had the possibility to end her entire career for something which wasn’t her fault… I can only imagine the pain she’s going through.

Which is why I’m posting this, in respect and admiration. I was watching the 2013 MelOn Music Awards live stream on YouTube (and so was everyone else as far as I know) and for a young girl of 24 to stand back on stage, sing her heart out even after public humiliation… so brave. She deserved the standing ovation, she deserved the award, she deserved the never-ending cheers, encouragement and support from fellow artists and fans.
